Dear Y.A.L.E. School Family,
As Y.A.L.E. School leadership continues to monitor developments surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19 in our area, we want to reach out to you with an update, and a message of thanks.
As you all know, the COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly from day to day. Y.A.L.E. School, with guidance from the professional health community and government advisories, closed our campuses and transitioned to remote education in order to protect our school communities and to do our part to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Our staff and teachers met the challenge head-on, adapting quickly and taking a crash-course in online education so they could continue to provide a positive, structured, specialized education to their students. Our Y.A.L.E. School parents and guardians accepted the task of transforming their homes into classrooms, supporting our team as we made this lightning-fast transition.
We are happy to report that remote instruction is underway and off to an incredible start. Family members, teachers and students alike all report positive experiences. While nothing can replace the face-to-face education experience in our classrooms, our Y.A.L.E. School family is making the best of this situation. We couldn’t be more grateful to all the members of the Y.A.L.E. School family for their patience, enthusiasm and flexibility.
As always, Y.A.L.E. School remains dedicated to providing our students with high quality, evidence-based instruction to plan for bright futures. If you do require additional information, we have provided helpful resources on our Remote Learning page to assist you. Should you or your child have questions or need other support, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher.
We are confident that through the hard work and dedication of our faculty, teachers, parents/guardians and students, we will get through this challenging time and emerge stronger than ever.
Stay safe, and stay in touch.
Y.A.L.E. School Administrative Team
